About Us

"Those innocent almond shaped eyes wide open are mesmerised by the slow motion movement of each finger. She attempts to wrap her delicate fingers round the crocheted rattle as she stares at each single motion. 

Every ounce of effort and strength is exercised; Disappointment is undiscovered, whereas determination and persistence are exquisitely emerging. 

And there we have it. Together with my love, passion and primary teaching experience of Early Years learning and development, I N C Y W I N C Y fingers was born". 

As much as I love being a mum on family leave from my teaching career to raise my precious children Zachary and Anabelle, I still have the burning desire in my heart and mind to continue to share my knowledge of Education, especially in the Early Years. 

I N C Y W I N C Y fingers is passionate about fine motor and sensory experiences that provide opportunities for active exploration and stimulation of children's senses through play, which is vital for healthy brain development. We love creating rich, meaningful learning experiences that assist in the development of muscle strength and control within children's hands, fingers and wrists, while exercising and strengthening hand and eye coordination. 

Social media has allowed me to continue to keep my mind creative and active and most importantly network and share with people who are interested in learning and children as much as I am. 

One of our greatest achievements thus far has been running our I N C Y W I N C Y Fingers Sensory Masterclasses at the Melbourne Museum in October 2018. Such an incredible experience and opportunity.
